COMPANY ORIGIN

Established in 1947, Thalle traces its history back to America’s post-World War II expansion era. In 1947, Guido Pacchiana left one of the Northeast’s largest road contractors in order to start Thalle with his brother, Anselmo Pacchiana, and Joseph Thalle in New York. The company’s efforts ranged from landscaping to sewer projects. Led by Guido’s son George Pacchiana, Thalle continued to diversify into construction material production, tunneling, and other increasingly complex civil construction projects.

In the 1990’s, Thalle expanded operations into the southeast and in 1999 established headquarters to Hillsborough, North Carolina. Initially pursuing utility work in the region, today Thalle offers a wide range of construction and construction material services including dams, landfills, site work, communication technology, and roller compacted concrete. Thalle Construction Company, Inc. joined the Tully Group, one of the nation’s largest privately held construction firms in the United States in 2012.

Today Thalle Construction Company, Inc. successfully operates in over 15 states with its headquarters in North Carolina and secondary location in Texas.
