About the Project

The Brushy Creek Raw Water Delivery System (Phase 2) project elements include two lake taps with multilevel screens, a gravity intake tunnel with a minimum 8-ft internal finished diameter cast-in-place concrete liner, an underground suction chamber with 6 well shafts, a 30-ft diameter, 300-ft deep construction access shaft, a transmission tunnel with a 78-inch welded steel final liner, a 145 MGD pump station, and a maintenance building for chemical feed systems to control invasive mussels.
